This topic covers how to add items to a class calendar.
- Select a class to access the class's calendar.
- You can then select Calendar from the left sidebar.
- You can view assignments from previous or future months using the backward and forward arrows at the top left.
- You can also select a Month, Week or Day calendar view using the buttons at the top right of the page.
- A color coding key is displayed at the top right of the calendar page. This will help you to determine what type of item is on the calendar.
- Hover over Add New to see options for adding items to the calendar. In the drop-down menu, you will have the following options:
- Calendar Event: This will allow you to add an event to your class calendar. You can give your event a title, date, description, attach a file and assign to additional classes (if desired). Select the green Add to Class button to create your event.
- Assignment: This will allow you to create a new assignment and assign it to a date on your class calendar.
- Quiz: This will allow you to add an existing quiz to a date on your calendar for one or more classes, or you can select the green Create New Quiz button to create a new quiz that you can assign to a date on your class Calendar.
- File: This will allow you to add an existing file to a date on your calendar or upload new files for one or more classes.
- Flashcards: This will allow you to add existing flashcards to a date on your calendar for one or more classes, or you can select the green Create New Flashcards button to create new flashcards that you can assign to a date on your class calendar.
- Wiki: This will allow you to add existing wikis to a date on your calendar for one or more classes, or you can select the green Create New Wiki button to create new wikis that you can assign to a date on your class Calendar.
- Class Discussion: This will allow you to add a class discussion to your class calendar. You can give your discussion a title, date, description, attach a file and assign to additional classes (if desired). Click the green Add to Class button to create your class discussion.
