This topic covers how to view student standards progress in the Standards Based Gradebook.
In order to view standards, you will need to ensure you have Standards Based Gradebook, Classic + Standards (Scaled) or Classic + Standards (Mapped) set as the Gradebook configuration for your class.
- Select a class to access your standards based Gradebook.
- Select Standards from the left sidebar to see an overview of your students' standards scores.
- On the Students tab, you can select the marking period for which you would like to view student standards progress by hovering over the drop-down menu at the top right and clicking the desired marking period.
- In the Standards Gradebook, you can view your class standards horizontally across the top and your students vertically down the left side.
- The Assessed column displays the percentage of standards that have been assessed for each student.
- The Mastered column displays the percentage of standards for which each student has earned a score above your mastery number, as set on the Standards Settings page.
- Click the Filter button to filter the standards information displayed on this page.
- In the Filter pop-up window, you can filter your standards information by a variety of parameters:
- Assessment Category: Select the assignment category for which you would like to show standards scores.
- Class Assessment: Select an assessment to only show results for that assignment.
- Publisher: Select to only show assessments from a specific publisher, if applicable.
- Display: Select if the standards Gradebook shows the students’ assignment score, mastery level, percentage or letter grade.
- Assessed: Select options for how standards are assessed:
- Planned: Standards that have been tagged in assignments, with or without scores.
- Not Planned: Standards that have not been tagged in any assignment.
- Covered: Standards that have been tagged in assignments with scores.
- Not Covered: Standards that have not been given a score, whether or not they have been tagged for an assignment.
- Class Group: Select a group from the drop-down menu to view standards progress for that group.
- View: Select a view option:
- Show expandable Categories view is an alternative view that allows you to see your standards “rolled up” into standards groups, which can be expanded.
- Show flat Standards-only view shows all standards and indicators available to your class, in order.
- When you have set your desired filtering settings, click the green Filter Results button.
- If you would like to change the standards set viewable on this page, click the drop-down menu to the right of Select Standards Set and select the desired standards set from the drop-down menu.
- To only view standards for a certain category, click the All Categories drop-down menu, and select the standards category that you would like to view.
