Edit Class Settings

This topic covers how to edit class settings for all classes at the school by using the class settings grid. 

  1. Select Classes on the left sidebar.

  2. On the blue bar at top of the class list, hover over the gear icon at the far right, and select Edit Class Settings to edit class settings for all active classes.

  3. The Edit Class Settings page displays all of the school’s active classes and a grid of settings that can be updated for those classes in the selected grading period. 

    You may need to scroll to the right to view all the class settings.

  4. You can change the selected grading period by hovering over the drop-down menu at the top right, and selecting the desired grading period from the drop-down menu.

  5. At the top of the class list, you may use the drop-down menus to filter your classes by grade level or subject area.

  6. You can view/modify the following settings for all classes at once or individually for each class on this page:

    • Class Name
    • Period
    • Grade
    • Subject
    • Course
    • Weight
    • Honors
    • Grade Rounding
    • Student Sorting
    • Grading Configuration
    • Grade Scale
    • Assignment Categories (Assn Cats)

  7. To modify settings for an individual class, make the changes on the row of the grid for the selected class.

  8. You may use the drop-down menus at the top next to Apply Settings to All Listed Classes to set the grade, subject, course, weight, honors, grade rounding, student sorting, assignment sorting and/or Gradebook configuration for all classes at once.

  9. Select an option from the drop-down menus to apply the settings to all active classes.

  10. When you have finished making your desired changes, click the green Submit button at the bottom of the page.
