View Dashboard

This topic covers how to view data on the school dashboard tiles.

  1. Select Dashboard on the left sidebar.

  2. From your dashboard, you can select the desired grading/marking period from the drop-down menu at the top right. School usage information pertaining to the selected grading/marking period will display.

  3. The School Usage tile will list the number of students, teachers, administrators and classes that exist in the selected grading/marking period.

    • Students: The total number of students listed here includes both active and archived students enrolled in at least one class. Click this row to be taken to the Students page.
    • Teachers: The total number of teachers listed here includes both active and archived teachers assigned to at least one class. Click this row to be taken to the Teachers page.
    • Administrators: The total number of administrators listed here includes all administrators connected to your school. Click this row to be taken to the Administrators page.
    • Classes: The total number of classes listed here includes both active and archived classes. Click this row to be taken to the Classes page.



  4. The Students Missing Assignments tile will display a pie chart that indicates the amount of students who have missing assignments in the selected grading/marking period.

    • Missing Assignments: The total number of students who have a missing assignment in at least one class. Click this row to be taken to a list of the students with missing assignments.
    • No Missing Assignments: The total number of students who have zero missing assignments in every class. Click this row to be taken to a list of the students with no missing assignments.



  5. The Student Logins tile will display a pie chart that indicates the amount of students who have logged into their Engrade student accounts in the selected grading/marking period.

    • Logged In: The total number of student accounts that are connected to your school who have logged in at least once. Click this row to be taken to a list of the students who have logged in at least once.
    • Never Logged In: The total number of student accounts that are connected to your school who have never logged in. Click this row to be taken to a list of the students who have never logged in.



  6. The Parent Logins tile will display a pie chart that indicates the amount of parents who have logged into their Engrade parent accounts in the selected grading/marking period.

    • Logged In: The total number of parent accounts that are connected to your school who have logged in at least once. Click this row to be taken to a list of the students whose parents have logged in at least once.
    • Never Logged In: The total number of parent accounts that are connected to your school who have never logged in. Click this row to be taken to a list of the students whose parents have never logged in.



  7. The Student Performance tile will display a pie chart that shows student performance within custom brackets in the selected grading/marking period.

    • The graph will list each custom performance bracket name, percentage range, total number of students within each bracket, and the overall percentage of students in each bracket.
    • Click the desired performance bracket row to be taken to a list of the students performing in the selected bracket.

  8. The Today's Attendance tile will display the total attendance marks taken for the current date.

    • The graph will list each custom attendance mark name, total number of students with each mark, and the overall percentage of students with each mark.
    • Click the desired attendance mark row to be taken to a list of the students with the selected attendance mark.

  9. The Students Failing Classes tile will display a pie chart that indicates the amount of students who are failing a class in the selected grading/marking period.

    • Failing at Least One Class: The total number of students who are failing at least one class. Click this row to be taken to a list of the students failing a class.
    • Not Failing Any Classes: The total number of students who are not failing any classes. Click this row to be taken to a list of the students not failing any classes.



  10. The Teacher Logins tile will display a pie chart that indicates the amount of teachers who have logged into their Engrade teacher accounts in the selected grading/marking period.

    • Logged In Within A Week: The total number of teacher accounts that are connected to your school who have logged in at least once in the past week. Click this row to be taken to a list of your teachers.
    • Hasn’t Logged In For Over A Week: The total number of teacher accounts that are connected to your school who have not logged in for over a week. Click this row to be taken to a list of your teachers.
