This topic covers how to export student data for a mail-merge as a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file.

- Select Reports from the left sidebar.
- Click the Export Mail-Merge Data (CSV) button.
- In the pop-up window, select from the following options:
- Name This Report: Enter a title for your file.
- Grading Period: From the drop-down menu, select the grading or marking period that you would like to appear on the export.
- Grade Level: From the drop-down menu, select either All grade levels or choose a specific grade level that you would like to appear on the export.
- Grades: Check this box to display student grades in each class.
- Weighted Attendance: Check this box to include class and overall weighted attendance on the export.
- Comments: Check this box to display teacher comments for students in each class.
- Weighted GPA: Check this box to include class and overall weighted GPA on the export.
- Class Weights: Check this box to include class weights on the export.
- Honors Status: Check this box to indicate whether a class is marked as honors on the export.
- Unweighted GPA: Check this box to include class and overall unweighted GPA on the export
- Attendance: Check this box to include class and overall attendance marks on the export.
- Standards: Check this box to include standards on your export.
- Custom Fields: Check this box to include student custom fields on your export.
- Click the green Export Mail Merge Data button to create your mail-merge data CSV file.
- You can view and print this CSV file at the bottom of the Print Reports page by clicking on the title of the file.
- You can save the CSV file to your computer for use outside of Engrade.
