View Standards Performance

Administrators can create custom standard sets for use in standards tagging and tracking within your Engrade account. Custom standard sets, including state, county, district, or school standards, can be adapted for use in Engrade. This topic describes how to view standards progress for an entire grading period for each class at your school.

  1. Select Standards from the left sidebar.

  2. From the Standard Set drop-down menu, select the standard set for which you would like to view student progress.

  3. You can filter this page by specific standards categories using the All Categories drop-down menu.

  4. Once you have selected a standards set, you can view the following information:

    • Class: The class name.
    • Grade: The class grade level.
    • Subject: The class subject.
    • Teacher: This is the image of the primary teacher for the class.
    • Planned: This bar shows the percentage of standards that have been tagged to graded and ungraded assignments in each class.
    • Coverage: This bar shows the percentage of standards that have been tagged to graded assignments in each class.
    • Mastery: This bar shows the level of mastery for standards that have been tagged to graded assignments in each class.

  5. The Planned bar indicates what percentage of available standards has been tagged to graded or ungraded class assignments. For example, if a class has 100 standards available, and 5 have been tagged to class assignments, the planned bar will indicate 5%.

    • If you hover over the planned bar, you can view the number of standards tagged to assignments out of the total number of standards available for that class.
    • Clicking directly on the Planned bar will take you to the Standards page of the selected teacher’s Gradebook.

  6. The Coverage bar indicates what percentage of available standards has been tagged to graded class assignments. For example, if a class has 100 standards available, and 5 have been tagged to graded class assignments, the coverage bar will indicate 5%.

    • If you hover over the coverage bar, you can view the number of standards tagged to graded assignments out of the total number of standards available for that class.
    • Clicking directly on the Coverage bar will take you to the Standards page of the selected teacher’s Gradebook.

  7. The Mastery bar indicates the number of scores in each of your standards mastery categories that exist in each class.

    • The colors coordinate to the colors set for your standards mastery categories.
    • Hover over each section of the mastery bar to see the number of scores in each bracket.
    • Clicking directly on a section of the Mastery bar will take you to the Standards page of the selected teacher’s Gradebook.
