This topic covers how to set standards scales.
- Select a class.
- Select Settings from the left sidebar.
- From the Settings page, click on the Standards Settings tab.
- If your administrator has configured pre-set standards scales, you will have these options available in the drop-down menu to the right of Select your standards scale.
- To set a customized standards scale, select My Scale from the drop-down menu to the right of Select your standards scale.
- For Standards Based Gradebook and Classic + Standards (Scaled) Gradebook configurations, you will need to customize the following information:
- Scale Max Value: Enter your scales max value in the box.
- Standards Scale: Click Add Row or Drop Row to adjust your custom standards scale. For each row, you can add a low and high range, grade mark, description, and color.
- Mastery Score: Enter a score in the box for which you want students to be considered to have “mastered” the standard.
- For Classic + Standards (Mapped) Gradebook configuration, you will need to customize the following information:
- Scale Max Value: Enter your scale’s max value in the box.
- Standards Scale: Click Add Row or Drop Row to adjust your custom standards scale. For each row, you can add a low and high range, grade mark, description, and color. Additionally, you will need to align this scale to your class grading scale.
- Mastery Score: Enter a score in the box for which you want students to be considered to have “mastered” the standard.

- Click the green Save Settings button to save all your settings.
