Enable and Disable WVEIS Grade Submission Marking Periods

West Virginia district administrators can enable and disable grade submission windows for teachers and school administrators. These windows generally should be opened on the first day of term grade submissions for a school, and closed on the last day of term grade submissions for a school. Ideally, only one marking period should be enabled at any time for a given school. This is to prevent teachers from accidentally submitting grades for one marking period to the incorrect marking period. This topic describes how to enable and disable WVEIS grade submission marking periods.

  1. Select Marking Periods from the left sidebar.

  2. Locate the desired marking period to enable or disable.

    If you do not see the marking period you need, please contact your district's Engrade account manager.



  3. Using the drop-down menu, select Enabled or Disabled for each marking period.

    It is recommended that only one marking period be enabled at any given time in order to prevent teachers from accidentally submitting grades to the incorrect marking period.



  4. Click the green Submit button at the bottom of the page to save any changes. Enabled marking periods will display in a green frame.
